Our bike tours in Germany and Austria

Since it's founding in 1973/74, the Rotalis "originals" have enjoyed great popularity. One of the main reasons is surely Rotalis' choice of routes. During the last 30 years we have continually improved our routes, many of which don't appear on even the best biking maps. We often use forest and pasture paths, sometimes we have to walk the bikes for a short stretch. Is there a time of year when nature's colors are more splendid than in Spring in the ALpine foothills of Bavaria and Austria? Or when Autumn waves its colored fan over the woods, contrasting with the already snowcapped peaks in the distance? And for the cyclist, fall's harvest fruit basket is there for the taking. Swimming fun? Nearly all of our tours offer the possibility. Ponds, lakes and rivers often appear along the way, frequently around lunchtime, offering a welcome picnic spot.

Experience the Southern German and Austrian lifestyle when we stop at a "Beer Garden" or local inn. Or take in the often unpopulated expanses of fields, great forests and innumerable lakes, when you cycle through Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Pommerania.
